It's hard enough these days to find a good band taking thrash metal seriously and not just taking the piss for a chance to get laid and high in their carousel of hi-top retro fashion and Hot Topic love affairs, but Vektor were a lot more than just good.
Vektor is an American technical thrash metal band from Tempe, Arizona (and based in Philadelphia since 2012). Their music is heavily themed around scientific, philosophical, futuristic and astronomical topics.
The band regards the release as a demo, not as their first album. The release's working title was in fact "Demo-lition". Oblivion , and Destroying the Cosmos were re-recorded on "Black Future" album.

They were rough cuts, done almost completely by frontman David Disanto. Hearing the even at the time impressive mix of technicality and speed, the boys gave Disanto a call and made the band a reality.
