Martin Hornstein (September 11, 1937 – December 19, 2013) was an American production manager, producer and second unit director/assistant director. He served from 1976—1983 on the faculty at the American Film Institute .

Dec 24, 2013 · StarTrek.com is saddened to report the passing of Martin Hornstein, a respected unit production manager and producer whose many credits included Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis.
Best known for his work on the Star Trek franchise, Hornstein served as a unit production manager and executive producer on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998), Star Trek: Nemesis (2002).
