Playground Psychotics is a two-CD live album by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. It was originally released in 1992 through his mail order label, Barking Pumpkin, and was re-released in 1995 through Rykodisc.
On 6 June 1971, John & Yoko performed at a Frank Zappa and the Mother of Invention’s concert at the Fillmore East, N.Y.C. A different mix of this recording was also released on the Live Jam disc on Some Time In New York City.
Jan 9, 2024 · He must have thought fondly of the performance as a live recording made it onto his 1992 album, Playground Psychotics, as a track called ‘A Small Eternity With Yoko Ono’. Ono would get further praise from Zappa, who thanks her in the liner notes for his 1993 album The Yellow Shark.
