K. Raghavan (2 December 1913 – 19 October 2013), also fondly called Raghavan Master, was a Malayalam music composer and Carnatic Vocalist. Along with G. Devarajan, V. Dakshinamoorthy and Baburaj, Raghavan is often credited for the renaissance of Malayalam film music.
Dr. Krishnaswamy VijayRaghavan FRS [1] (born 3 February 1954) is an emeritus professor and former director of the National Centre for Biological Sciences. [2] . On 26 March 2018, the Government of India appointed him as the principal scientific adviser to succeed Dr. R Chidamabaram. His term as Principal Scientific Adviser ended on April 2, 2022.
Raghavan was the director-general of Tamil Nadu's State Vigilance Directorate for six years from 1993 to 1999, overseeing the corruption cases against AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa. In his 15-year stint with the Intelligence Bureau, he was posted to Shillong, Delhi and Chennai.

Raghavan was unwell for some time and was admitted to the co-operative Hospital in his hometown Thalassery in north Kerala few days back,family sources said.
