FARRANDS: I met with Moustapha Akkad in 1990, shortly after the release of HALLOWEEN 5. I had been a life-long HALLOWEEN fan and managed to get one of my original horror scripts over to Ramsey Thomas, who had produced “5.” He liked my writing enough to set up a meeting for me with Moustapha Akkad.
