He played college baseball for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos baseball team as a walk-on. He was drafted by the Indians in the fourth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.
Shane Bieber is a right-handed pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians. He has won the Cy Young Award, the Triple Crown, and the ERA title, and is a two-time All-Star and a Gold Glove winner.
