Max Uhlig (born 23 June 1937 in Dresden) is a German painter. He won the Hans Theo Richter-Preis of the Sächsische Akademie der Künste in 1998. [1] Career. From 1955 to 1960, Uhlig studied at the Dresden University of Fine Arts with Hans Theo Richter and Max Schwimmer.
