Gavin Thomson Cartoonist Gavin Thomson is the co creator of the the long running daily comic strip Treknet, which began life in the False Bay People’s Post in 2005 and continues to be published daily in the Cape Times, Mercury and Saturday Star.

For the past decade, Noordhoek resident Gavin Thomson has made a name for himself as one of South Africa’s most prolific cartoonists.
Gavin with Marguerite’s parents, Gordon and Gracie, Rowena and Charlotte and his uncle Morris and aunt Jean. Morris was a favourite uncle and Gavin has always said that he became a vet in Morris’ footsteps.
