Sep 26, 2019 · Reflecting on the box office debacle of Thugs of Hindostan, director Vijay Krishna Acharya says people did not like that Aamir Khan's character was inherently flawed. Acharya said he wanted to challenge himself with the story starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. He hopes the film will get its due later.
