No Tears for the Dead (Korean: 우는 남자; RR: Uneun Namja; literally Crying Man) is a 2014 South Korean action film written and directed by Lee Jeong-beom.The film revolves around a professional hitman (Jang Dong-gun) who is conflicted about killing his last target (Kim Min-hee).
In order to get in character, JANG Dong-gun underwent intense training physically and mentally. He trained with a U.S. special operations unit so that he could move like the killer Gon is and even read essays by real adoptees to truly understand his character's emotions and trauma.
