VPNs slow my Internet speed which is already dying, only give me 4gb by switching between its servers which itself ( 4gb ) takes forever. Wasn't that desperate for such an inefficient route.

Quit megasync (the desktop app you should be using), get new IP through VPN or restart router, open megasync again. or if ya have a 5r spare just get a month a/c and then ya wont have to worry about a limit. Megabasterd is stopping in middle while downloading the file.
Oct 15, 2021 · Go to "on startup" and set it to "continue where you left off". After that, anytime you close the browser and reopen it, it'll open all the pages that you left open when you closed it. Oh thanks! I will try that. I downloaded their "app" and just pause the download, switch VPN servers and resume.
Jun 7, 2024 · MEGA download is too slow. So I usually can download large files (>2 GB) using the MEGA Desktop App at about 3-7 MB/s for a couple of months now. But recently whenever I download anything it would jump to 3-7 MB/s and then decreasing till about 12-99 KB/s before stopping completely after a couple of minutes or hours.
But there probably is an option to download it straight to your hard drive. Usually when i use mega i just add stuff to my mega and then download it to my device later if i want to. I always use mega downloader 1.6 version. But not sure can this handle more than 5 GB (never tried) I just switch my location when it stops.
