The primary aim of PAF Public School Lower Topa is to educate and groom boys at the Matriculation and Intermediate levels and inculcate leadership qualities throughout the process. The institution hosts a cohort of curricular and extra-curricular activities, including sports events, clubs and societies, and state-of-the-art facilities to impart an immersive learning experience.
The school remained open till 1968, in which year PAF College Sargodha was made part of PAF Academy (thus halting the use of the sister school as a "feeder school" to PAF), and Lower Topa as a public school ceased operations. In June 1998, the need for a feeder school revitalized and after a period of 30 years, the PAF College Lower Topa reopened.
A group of 120 students was inducted in 8th and 9th classes. The entries to PAF Public School, Lower Topa from the very beginning had been in alphabetical order and the institution had U, V and W entries when it was amalgamated with PAF College, Sargodha. Therefore, the new entries continued that sequence and were known as X and Y entries.
