In the turn of the Twentieth Century in Buffalo, New York, the aspiring writer Edith Cushing is the daughter of the wealthy entrepreneur Carter Cushing. Edith saw the ghost of her mother that warned her to beware of Crimson Peak when she was a child and presently she is writing a ghost story.
