Although stated ironically, it was still a peculiar way to advertise a musical love story. But it couldn't have been such a surprise either.
Ratan's family refuses to accept that he is guilty, as they are interested in their status. Insulted, Jaswant decides to leave the village. Unable to tolerate the events, Madhumati commits suicide. Apr 29, 2018 · Though Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, with its star-crossed lovers and tragic climax was no Bobby, it’s probably closer in spirit to Ek Duuje Ke Liye, another 1980s Romeo Juliet tragedy best known as the Hindi launch-pad of Kamal Haasan opposite Rati Agnihotri. Aamir Khan may well have been the original Raj, but as cinematic history would attest, Shah Rukh Khan walked away with the title, thanks to DDLJ.
Critics reviews. While on vacation at Mount Abu, Raj and Rashmi find their romance has grown into a full-blown love affair. But their happy union turns disastrous when they realize that their families are enemies from long ago.
