After a decade of oft-strained relations with major-label Atlantic, Lupe gained a newfound level of creative independence during the latter half of the 2010s, heard on the connected full-lengths Drogas Light (2017) and Drogas Wave (2018) and 2022's Drill Music in Zion.
Album Rating: 1.5. Unless I'm reading it wrong, the argument that Lupe's consistent in the first paragraph makes no sense at all given your dislike of LASERS. Otherwise, great review, dude, and I hate to agree with the score. Just skimmed it again, and there's a lot of obvious grammar/spelling errors.
