UGC & University of Mumbai have granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS to Ramnairanjan Jhunjhunwala College (R. J. College of Arst, Science & Commerce) from the academic year 2018-19. R J College of Arts, Science & Commerce is academically autonomous and is affiliated to UNIVERSITY OF MUMBAI and the the Graduation Degree will be conferred by University of Mumbai.
Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College was established in 1963 by the Hindi Vidya Prachar Samiti. On the auspicious day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, 15 August 1938 the people of Ghatkopar and the neighboring suburbs observed the birth of Hindi Vidya Prachar Samiti, a brainchild of visionary Late Shri Nandkishore Singh Jairamji.
In this information age, libraries have a challenging role to play. Thus It has been upgraded from a traditional library to an automated library, further to electronic and now to digital library. This changing role of library has been very well acknowledged by the library of Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College. We have an excellent library.
Jun 11, 2024 · After 5th-semester students become eligible for college placements. Companies like Godrej,Infosys,Lti,icici,Tcs visits college .This and Infosys made around 60 offers and other companies made a maximum of 10 offers which is decent. Around 15 to 20 percent of students get placed. I would definitely like to attend the placements and get an offer.
