John Eliot Sturges ( / ˈstɜːrdʒɪs /; 3. januar 1910 – 18. august 1992) bio je američki filmski režiser, najpoznatiji kao autor popularnih i uticajnih vesterna i akcijskih filmova 1950-ih i 1960-ih. John Sturges DCL was a priest in England during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. [1] Sturges was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge [2] and was incorporated at Oxford in 1682.
