Helen Ann Richardson Khan (née Richardson; born 21 November 1938), known mononymously as Helen, is an Indian actress and dancer. She has appeared in over 1000 films, [1] making her a prolific performer in Hindi cinema. She is known for her supporting, character roles and guest appearances in a career spanning 70 years.
Helen was born to an Anglo-Indian father and Burmese mother. After the demise of her father during the World War II, her family migrated to Mumbai in 1943. Due to her family’s financial crisis, she quit her schooling to support them.
