Gen V is an American superhero television series, developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke, serving as a spin-off of The Boys by Kripke, and based on The Boys comic book story arc "We Gotta Go Now" by Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, and John Higgins.

I have to say I prefer C.V. Boys excellent older Soap Bubbles book with all its sound practical advice. It is cheaper than the alternative and more modern book The Science of Soap Films and Soap Bubbles. The latter has colour plates with many more images and deals with the mathematics more completely.
The paper describes experiments on thin films that can be done easily with Boys' rainbow cup, mounted on a phonic wheel to insure constancy of rotational speed.
The book deeply impressed French writer Alfred Jarry, who in 1898 wrote the absurdist novel Exploits and Opinions of Dr. Faustroll, Pataphysician, in which the title character, who was born at the age of 63 and sails in a sieve, is described as a friend of C.V. Boys (see also 'Pataphysics).
