History states that when Mughal ruler Mohammad Shah commissioned a Turani diplomat Asaf Jah I in 1922 as wazir of the Mughal conglomerate, he suddenly relinquished his position in 1724 and proceeded to Deccan where he crowned himself as Nizam ul Mulk and thus the kingdom of Marathwada also came under his territory which later became the princely state of Hyderabad of which Osmanabad was an area.
Jan 27, 2020 · I visited in the month of Shard during this month the goddess Tulja’s idiol is kept in sleeping position and the place where the idol usually is kept is empty , on the first day of navatri she is again put back to the original place, I request if anyone visiting Tuljapur it’s better to visit after the Sharad period is over, the road from Sholapur to Tuljapur is very good they have made a four lane, if you book a car from Sholapur to Tuljapur and akallkot and back they will charge RS 2400/-
