To control for hindsight bias, remember that in the mid-90s: the web was used only by a small minority niche – 0.4% of the world population, compared to 54% today.
The Road Ahead is largely about what he has experienced and what the world might look like from his perspective in the 90s. Some of it came true, although from his company, and while that may be interesting to some (at times to me), it does seem to be a 'thing of the times'.
