Superboy-Prime (Clark Kent, born Kal-El), also known as Superman-Prime or simply Prime, is a DC Comics superhero turned supervillain and an alternate version of Superman.The character first appeared in DC Comics Presents #87 (November 1985) and was created by Elliot S. Superboy, also known as Kon-El and Conner Kent, is a major character in the DC Universe and comics. He is the clone of the Kryptonian superhero, Superman and his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor, and was created by Project Cadmus to replace Superman after his apparent death by Doomsday, along with being an agent meant to kill Superman if he went rogue.
