Mar 28, 2024 · Admission to approved New Sainik Schools in the Sainik School stream, for the academic year 2025-26 is only at the level of Class VI. Eligibility requirements are as follows: A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2025 for admission to Class VI , i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2012 and 31 March 2014 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2025-26.

Local board of administration (LBA) with the Commissioner, respective Division, as its Chairman and Principal of the school as the Secretary, is responsible for its efficient functioning on day to day basis.
