Mar 6, 2024 · The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) stated that the land was procured in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Civil contracts for the project in Gujarat and Maharashtra have been awarded, with progress on the bullet train, including the launch of 120.4km of girders and the completion of 271km of pier casting.
Mar 6, 2024 · The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) announced the completion of 100% land acquisition for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Rail Corridor (bullet train project) in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The high-speed rail line connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad has secured all required 1389.49 hectares of land.
The project is being executed by the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd. (NHSRCL) through a 50-year ₹88,087 crore (US$12 billion) loan from Japan at an interest rate of 0.1%, with repayments scheduled to start 15 years after the line becomes operational.
