Copperopolis may be my least favorite Grant Lee Buffalo release, but it still includes a number of the band's greatest tracks. The best of these is the aforementioned "Bethlehem Steel"- a six-minute behemoth whose slowly-developing, verse-centric melody is a perfect showcase for Phillips' talents.
