Apr 17, 2020 · This is a mod that adds a Level Of Detail (LOD) system to Minecraft. This implementation renders simplified chunks outside of the normal render distance allowing for an increased render distance without harming performance.
Performs three times better than vanilla and it's nowhere close to getting shaders running smooth on high settings, so with distant horizons on very high render distance, won't run decently smooth any time.
