On my visit, I saw the changing of the guard, which is an entire ceremony on it's own. There are parts that are off limits, because it's living area to the royal family and the castle workers.

In a change to previous booking conditions for Windsor Castle, it is now possible for groups of 15 or more to book on the day of their visit, both in person or by telephone (subject to availability). Online bookings for the same day remain off sale. Group reservations must be paid for by credit card or company cheque, 30 days before the visit date.
