In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 165 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (Maharashtra XXIV of 1961), the Government of Maharashtra hereby, after previous publication as required by sub-section (3) of that section read with section 22 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bombay I of 1904), makes the following Rules, namely :-
