The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is the largest university in Norway today, with a history dating back to 1910, and a tradition going back to 1767 and the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters (DKNVS).
The department operates study programs in information security and communication technology at PhD, master and bachelor levels. We also host the Center for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS) , the SFI Norwegian Centre for Cybersecurity in Critical Sectors (NORCICS) and the former national Research School of Computer and Information Security (COINS) .
