Welcome to the oldest University in BiH! During the course of its long history, the University of Sarajevo educated a number of eminent experts from every field, gaining both local and international academic reputation. I therefore firmly believe that our commitment to the production of modern and dynamic study programs aligned with global standards is our duty that has no alternative.
The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is a private university located in the capital city Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university was established by the Foundation for the Development of Education in 2004–2005. IUS is open to students from all over the world, and the language of instruction and communication is English.
ENROLLMENT Candidates are enrolled in the first year of study following the student enrollment plan. The competition for enrollment in the first year and the cycle of studies is scheduled for mid-June of the current year. The International Relations Office of the University of Sarajevo is a central office with headquarters in the Rectorate. It was founded to coordinate activities and develop international relations with partner universities and other teachings, educational and research institutions and cooperation networks from Europe and the world.
