Sep 6, 2017 · GTR was one of those 80´s "super groups"; band was formed around two very well know prog guitarists, Steve HACKETT (Genesis) and Steve HOWE (Yes, Asia), but GTR sound was completely different to the born bands of this two guitarists. GTR sound was oriented to FM radio, a commercial pop-rock of quality, but completely apart of prog sounds.

Don is the newest addition to GTR, though no stranger to the music scene. Don started taking piano lessons when he was ten-years-old. Once he heard the likes of Santana, Chicago, and Blood, Sweat & Tears, Don joined his first band in about 1970 with some of his high school classmates and began developing his organ and, later, synthesizer skills.
