The Killer Elite was one of the films I was lowkey most excited for in this Peckinpah run, just because it was Peckinpah directing James Caan and Robert Duvall. Had I have known it was Peckinpah directing Caan and Duvall in a convoluted espionage/martial arts proxy war trash epic involving ninjas and a crippled James Caan doing walking stick kung fu, I'd have watched it a long time ago.
