Joseph Sherrard Kearns (1907–1962) was an American actor, who is best remembered for his role as "Mr. Wilson" in the CBS television series Dennis the Menace from 1959 until his death in 1962. In 1940, Kearns played the role of Alfred Hitchcock in an American radio adaptation of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927).
At some point the organ was placed in storage until 1955, when it was sold to actor Joseph Kearns, best known as Mr. Wilson on TV's "Dennis the Menace" show. Kearns built his house around the organ, and enlarged it to 26 ranks.
