  4. Joseph Sherrard Kearns (1907–1962) was an American actor, who is best remembered for his role as "Mr. Wilson" in the CBS television series Dennis the Menace from 1959 until his death in 1962. In 1940, Kearns played the role of Alfred Hitchcock in an American radio adaptation of The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927).
