Tanuja Chandra was born into a middle-class family in Mumbai. In 1995, she made her debut as a director with the TV series “Zameen Aasmaan.”. After directing another TV series in 1996, she went on to write the script of the Bollywood film “Dil Toh Pagal Hai” which was a huge hit.
