Mahaakshay Chakraborty fares okay in the lead, while Tia Bajpai impresses in her debut role. Haunted 3D feels like a typical horror/mystery in the first act as it proceeds to unfold the story. The unfolding itself is very captivating and there are some genuinely scary moments. I was startled a number of times, and I liked that effect. The first half is high on the horror quotient, while the second half is higher on action.
