Mithoon is a composer, singer and lyricist who is well-known composition of the song 'Tum Hi Ho' from the movie Aashiqui 2. It received critical acclaim and charted well. He received the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for the film as well as other reputed awards such as IIFA Awards and Zee Cine Awards.
Mithoon is an Indian music composer and also writes lyrics for his own songs. He is the son of well known musician Naresh Sharma who has scored background music for more than 200 films. He has composed some beautiful melodies. his work includes Maula Mere Maula, Phir Mohabbat from Murder 2, Yeh Kasoor from Jism 2, Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2, Baarish from Yaariyan and recently Bolo Har Har Har from Shivaay.

The music of the film is composed by Mithoon, Uttam Singh (uncredited) and Monty Sharma while lyrics are written by Sayeed Quadri and Sunil Sirvaiya. The first single titled "Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava" was released on 29 June 2023. The second single titled "Khairiyat" was released on 9 July 2023.
