It is the third instalment of the Dhoom series and sequel to Dhoom (2004) and Dhoom 2 (2006). Dhoom 3 was released on 20 December 2013 and received mixed reviews from critics alike. It was the first Indian film to be released in the IMAX motion picture film format and also in Dolby Atmos surround sound.
