We played GTA5 Online end of 2022 then we took a year break and we tried to play again late 2023 and we could not. When he starts GTA 5 from steam Rockstar game launcher is infinitely stuck in loading loop. We tried to clean registries, clean install of steam,gta and the launcher (launcher several times) in meaning deleting document folders and everything. It did not work.

At that point it was I believe primarily a DRM tool, despite the Social Club name, used to confirm the validity of the serial key, linking that to your email, and also that the key game files, especially the EXEs, weren't altered to side step the other anti-piracy measures.

Feb 18, 2017 · I know I'm typing everything in correctly. I Quintuple checked. It still doesn't work. I went to rockstar and emailed them about this, they emailed be back unlinking my steam account so I can claim GTA V on my other social club account, that didn't work. I've tried so much and I really just want to enjoy this game.
Jun 7, 2024 · Download the latest Launcher from the Rockstar Games website. Before install, first go and Uninstall Rockstar Launcher and SocialClub from you PC. Once removed, right click the Rockstar Launcher Installer you downloaded, click Run As Admin. When the installer completes and you are asked to launch it, untick that box.

If you, like me, are having issues getting the stupid new launcher to install, and you've tried everybody else's solutions with no success, then I may have the fix for you. When trying to run the Rockstar-Games-Launcher.exe file to install the new launcher, it does a quick check to see if any instance of "launcher.exe" is already running.
