  3. Grammarly certainly is AI, there is no denying that, but it is far less sophisticated than GPT, which is likely what the university is out after. Even microsoft word uses some level of AI in its detection of languages, or grammar. The term AI has become such a buzzword that it has lost much of its meaning.
