Check in there for settings you can adjust like sensitivity of your touchpad to see if any of those settings solves this.

Feb 15, 2020 · Follow these steps to fix the erratic mouse issue using Mouse Acceleration: Right click Start. Select Control Panel. Go to Hardware and Sound. Select Mouse. Choose Pointer Options tab. Uncheck Enhance pointer precision box to turn off Mouse Acceleration. Click Apply then click Ok. Check if the mouse works properly now.

Sep 23, 2022 · No luck. I tried using 3 different mice and two different USB ports; again, no luck. I even did a complete reset/reinstall of Windows 11 and chose to delete all files and settings. Still having the same problem. For now; I am going back to Windows 10, until Microsoft can figure out what is causing all the erratic behavior. Answer. LU. LuizScruz.
Mar 11, 2024 · Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) My laptop was turned off for a month while on vacation. When I turned it back on, the Logitech wireless mouse movement was very erratic. It would not track across the screen and I have to use the touchpad until the the mouse starts working again. This is very frustrating especially when scrolling.

Apr 29, 2017 · 1. I used two seperate external Logitech Mouse devices (transceiver plugs into the USB port), and also a Microsoft Arc Touch mouse. Same results (erratic, freezing, etc). 2. With respect to the BIOS test, when I ran the Mouse/Trackpad tests (and other tests), I also ran the Drag/Drop tests, etc.
