In Hindu mythology, Rohini (Sanskrit: रोहिणी, lit. 'Ascending', IAST: Rohiṇī) [1] is the first consort of Vasudeva, the sister of Yashoda, [2] and the mother of the Hindu deities Balarama and Subhadra.
