Haré Rama Haré Krishna is a 1971 Indian musical drama film directed by Dev Anand starring himself, Mumtaz and Zeenat Aman. The film was a hit [1] and a star-making vehicle for Zeenat Aman, who played a westernized hippie, and won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award, [2] as well as the BFJA Award for Best Actress. Although most of the people consider ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’ as her debut film, she had done two films before it, namely ‘Hulchul’ (1971) and ‘Hungama’ (1971). Zeenat Aman was the third choice for the character of Janice/Jasbir Jaiswal.
