The stars’ dad is Phil Collins, the drummer and singer from the rock band Genesis, while her mom, Jill Tavelman, is an actress and architect. She also owns an antique store in West Hollywood, Calif., which she opened in 2014.
In a 2020 interview with Radio Times, Lily Collins shared that she would refrain from starring in a biopic about her father, as she does not wish to mix her professional and private life.
