Amjad Khan was an Indian renowned actor and film director. [1][2] He worked in over 132 films in a career spanning nearly twenty years. He was the son of the actor Jayant.
He was born to legendary actor Jayant in Peshawar, Pakistan. His family is of Afghani Pashtun descent. Before coming to films, Amjad was a theatre actor. When he was only 11 years old, he appeared as a Child Actor in the film Nazneen (1951) and after that, Amjad made appearances in minor roles with father Jayant in a few films.
