The Omega Man (stylized as The Ωmega Man) is a 1971 American post-apocalyptic action film [3] directed by Boris Sagal and starring Charlton Heston as a survivor of a pandemic. It was written by John William Corrington and Joyce Corrington, based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson .
With Charlton Heston, Anthony Zerbe, Rosalind Cash, Paul Koslo. Dr Robert Neville has developed an experimental vaccine which makes him the only immune survivor of a biological catastrophe. A gang of homicidal mutants blame science for their condition and attempt to kill him.
