War Child is active in 19 countries where children are forced to live directly with the effects of armed conflict. In our War Child Netherlands programme countries, we currently have 434 colleagues working tirelessly to support children to deal with these effects and shape their own futures.
War Child delivered vital child protection, education and psychosocial support among underserved and hard-to-reach communities in 16 countries. Taking hold at different stages and with different degrees of force, the year saw COVID-19 reach all 16 countries - countries with the least resources to handle a public health crisis of this magnitude.
