Manzai comedians, geisha, or stereotyped heavy Kansai-/Kyoto-ben speakers in fiction may use はん everywhere, even when they're being very polite (e.g. お客はん, 社長はん).
Jul 10, 2018 · Korean Han is 韓. This is in contrast to the Chinese Han 漢, which we still use to refer to Chinese characters 漢字. It originates from the Samhan period where three confederation of Korean tribes resided in the southern half of the current borders of the Korean peninsula.
A common way to it's used in korean is to say someone is "Full of han" and that's probably the best way to understand it for an english speaker. Being "full of han" would be the equivalent of saying someone is "driven". Han is a broad term that encompasses a sense of grievance.
