The film stars Mohanlal, Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Manisha Koirala, Antara Mali, and Seema Biswas. It marks Mohanlal's debut in Hindi cinema. It is the second film of Ram Gopal Varma's gangster trilogy and a sequel to Satya (1998).
Vivek Anand Oberoi (born 3 September 1976) is an Indian actor. The son of actor Suresh Oberoi, he began acting in 2002 with starring roles in the Hindi crime film Company and romantic drama Saathiya. His performances in them were praised and he won two Filmfare Awards for the former.
