Dec 21, 2023 · Bulgaria is totaly fucked up and going downhill the past couple of decades. The USA is pretty bad aswell, but Bulgaria is definatly a very bad choise. Check a country like the Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Norway etc. Yeah, that amount of money won't be enough to live in those countries, you will need also to work atleast part time, but you will have working infrastructure and Normal people around you.
Dec 7, 2017 · The trip was easy there is a bus every hour from Sofia (it takes about 2.5 hours) There are also companies running day trips to Plovdiv from Sofia. I'd say its easily doable as a day trip. Reply reply
Sofia is a beautiful modern city with great architecture, churches, and a wonderful European style of living. The food's very tasty, too. I spent two weeks in Bulgaria and absolutely loved it. Sofia was my least favourite stop but that's just because it's a city and I'm not much for cities.
