Comparing Nish to Ricky is an insult to Ricky in my opinion. I'm not the biggest fan of Ricky's comedy and I found his Golden Globes hosting pretty cringeworthy, but I think his writing (The Office, Extras, The Invention of Lying, After Life, etc.) is brilliant. Nish simply doesn't have the brains or talent to write anything remotely as good.
